Workouts for the Week of February 17th

Last week was not the best week, but doing well so far this week…

Sunday:  Run 80 minutes ~8 miles
Monday:  Zip
Tuesday:  Zilch
Wednesday:  Run 45 minutes ~5 miles
Thursday: Lift Weights & Bike 20 minutes
Friday:  Zero
Saturday:  Nada

Total Running Mileage for the Week:  13 miles
Total for the Year:  89 miles

An Update on My Weight

I’ve been pretty lax about posting the progress (or lack thereof) of my weight loss for a while now.  I’m updating my Weight Loss page soon, but thought that it would be worth its own entry just to note that in my WW meeting on Thursday (Feb 14th) I weighed in at 165.4 — just 6.4 pounds over my weight goal!  I was very encouraged and have been working hard and tracking like crazy to ensure I make it to my goal in the near future. 

I’ll try to update on this topic more frequently in the coming weeks…

Workouts for Week of February 10th

Much better week than last week:

Sunday:  run 6.5 miles in 62 minutes
Monday:  Weights
Tuesday:  run 40 mins ~4.5 miles (ran to the polls and voted for Obama)
Wednesday:  Weights and Bike 16 minutes
Thursday:  run 4.75 miles in 42 minutes (did 6 1/4 mile repeats at 8.5, 8.6, 8.7, 8.8, 8.9, and 9 miles per hour) – on the treadmill it was icy this morning.
Friday:  Weights and Row 20 minutes
Saturday:  Row 25 minutes and Bike 40 minutes

Total Running Mileage for the week:  ~16 miles
Total for the Year:  76 miles

Workouts for Week of February 3rd

This was a pretty slack week for me due to mostly to:

1. Starting a new job.
2. Being taken out to lunch 3 times for said new job.
3. My Birthday on Saturday.
4. Knee really bothered me on Tuesday (ran all of 5 minutes).

Without further ado, my workouts for the week:

Sunday:  Run 70 minutes ~7 miles
Monday:  Weights and row 20 minutes
Tuesday:  Run 5 minutes < .5 miles
Wednesday: zip
Thursday:  Run 4 miles (with 5 pick-ups) in 34:30
Friday:  zero
Saturday:  nada

Total Running Mileage for Week:  11 miles
Total for the Year:  60 miles

Total for the year:  49 miles
